2017 U.S. Speaking Tour: Find Yourself on the World Map
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.” – Charles Dickens, A Tale of Two Cities
For the past 10 years, the global situation has not been stable. Democracy faces a tremendous challenge for not only Taiwan but the world. The internet culture has penetrated lives without any form of regulation. Education occurs in not only the classroom, but every corner of the world. In this greatly confused situation, Stanley C. Yen timely writes his 10th book “Find Yourself on the World Map” (在世界地圖上找到自己). In conjunction with the release of the book, Stanley Yen will be speaking for the third time in San Francisco and Los Angeles. He will share his personal experiences and observations on the current situation in Taiwan, what critically influences Asia and the world, and how we as a global citizen should take on the challenges of the future.
